Brief intro
Hi all. It's me Biek ;-) I thought it was appropriate to give you guys a heads-up on who I am and what I'm doing here as I don't suspect anyone knows me or my alter ego Otto Verstear.
I'm a fellow Blogger & GPL driver and came across this GPL Movie Blogger. Now my first impression was 'wow cool, great idea' the one that followed was 'man, they can use a bit of spice on this Blogger'.
So I contacted Jason, explained to him that I'm one of the biggest fans of all GPL movies around and offered my help in making this Blogger look a bit more GPL-ish. He gladly accepted so here I am. As I will only be messing with the way things look, all data will at any time be available to everyone. It may just look a little different from time to time when I try things out.

Sure. you can take my own humble Blogger as an example, and that is actually the base I'll be using for your new home. Click here: Biek's BloggerThis of course is just an example as you can imagine. Blogger is not more than a bunch of codes that can be integrated into any webpage so the sky is the limit :-)

Once the basic layout is done it's very, and I mean very, simple to change colors, banners, etc.
Right now the base is dark green with lighter green and yellow text. It can easily be changed to blue/white, green/orange, etc.
Banner itself was about 5 mins work so whatever you guys like is possible.

The new design looks very cool! Good Job Biek and thx for your input ;)
One suggestion for improvement are the links. Is it possible to change their colour into a different one? Otherwise they can be overlooked easily.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I'm messing with the combinations between lighter green or darker yellow maybe to give it a bit better highlights.
Consider this work in progress guys, not much work, but much progress :-D
In addition I would try to change the css of the scrollbar.
scrollbar-face-color: black
scrollbar-track-color: green
scrollbar-arrow-color: black
the outlines and the rest in yellow
or sth. like that
but this is just personal style. I've seen that you made it on your blog in the same way. It's cool, but I would make it differently :P hihi

Well like I said it's a) simple to change all this and b) who am I to say what's cool, it's you guys website after all. Do you like it like this better?

Hehe, glad you like my fiddling folks, makes me happy :-D I think that when things are as slow at work as they are now (oh yeah, love my job LOL) that tomorrow in the afternoon it will indeed become BRM day.
Can't make a definite promise, but tomorrow evening is BRM 'day' as I should have that one finished also. Now I'm thinking about Ferrari day ... ;-)
ow, recification time: the above mentioned 'tomorrows' need to be read as 'later today' as I just took a look at the time ...
